3 Simple Steps to Beautiful Family Photos | Boise Family Photographer
STEP 1. PICK A DAY YOU WANT FROZEN IN TIME.
This can be any day, even one that’s chalk full of activities and errands. It can be a weekday so we can capture the daily grind of your typical week or it can be a Saturday full of sports, chores, and napping. If we are just doing a few hours, pick a time frame within that day. Typically people will choose the morning or evening routines to save forever.
The easiest way to compare calendars is for you to email or call me with a few dates that work for your family - I always try to be as flexible as possible, and once we find a date, booking is 100% online and takes just a few minutes.
STEP 2. LET ME BECOME ONE OF THE FAMILY FOR THE DAY.
The day of the session, just let me in the door and I’ll integrate into the family. I won’t be a fly on the wall, but I also won’t interfere with typical life in your home. I’ll play with the kids, let them show me all their cool toys and tricks. You don’t need to worry about walking in front of the camera, disciplining your kids, or changing your behavior. I’m there for you because you wanted me to capture this time in your life. It does no one good if you put on a show. Just show me your awesome, imperfect, goofy, loving family and we’ll have the best time together.
Finally, take a breath and relax...this is unlike any other family photo experience. It’s real life, and it’s enjoyable for every family member!
STEP 3. RECEIVE YOUR IMAGES - THE FUN PART!
Within just a couple of weeks of your session, you'll receive an email letting you know that your photos are ready. Once you've had a chance to see them and marvel for a bit, you'll let me know which collection you want to purchase. After that, you'll have a full month to select the specific digital files and print items you want to use to fill that collection...zero pressure! I’ve found beautiful labs to get my albums and prints from so you know you’re getting high quality, archival products.
And that’s it! Family photography used to stress me out when I was scheduling it for my own family. So many things on the to-do list to ensure a smooth session with the photographer. Sessions with me are totally different. It’s more like me just coming over to hang out with the family for a few hours! So simple and chill.
