Documentary Family Pictures To-Do List - featuring the McKenzie Family

When you think “family pictures”, do you think…

“In order to pull this off, I better get organized and start prepping now! I’ve got to research good color palettes for our outfits, buy the new clothes and shoes, try to lose a few pounds, make sure everyone is happy and on their best behavior the day of, bring the hair spray and comb for in the field touch ups, extra clothes in case there’s an accident on the way there or they spill juice or just drool too much, make sure I don’t get lost heading to the location and be even later than we probably will be…”

And the thought train keeps chugging along.

Yuck! Who wants that mess and memory when you look at the photo on the mantle? Because I guarantee you’ll remember the stress and headache to get you that photo.

Instead here is the to-do list for an unposed, unscripted, unapologetically you photo session.

Documentary sessions aren’t really planned out any more than a typical day is.

You just hang at home or at your favorite place to go as a family and we’ll just roll with how the day plays out. It’s chill and a blast. We really do have fun together.

Email me and tell me what your typical day looks like and we’ll get you on the books for a new way to preserve this time in your life.
