Hey you! Thanks for chatting.
Here’s all the information you’ll need to book your session
Step 1. Pick a day you want frozen in time.
In order to reserve a date, you will sign some paperwork online and pay your session fee. If we haven't already, the easiest way to compare calendars is for you to email or call me with a few dates that work for your family - I always try to be as flexible as possible, and once we find a date, booking is 100% online and takes just a few minutes.
As you pull out your calendar, here are a few things to consider:
Saturdays are limited and popular so scheduling as soon as possible can get you one of those. The whole family is usually home for the day so it’s the easiest way to have everyone together. I do not work Sundays.
Morning and evening routines are part of the family tradition and will be big memories for your kids as they grow up. These can easily be scheduled on week days with shorter sessions.
Beautiful documentary photographs of your life can be made in any kind of weather. I don’t reschedule sessions for bad weather unless there was something big you can planned for me to come along to photograph like a hike and a picnic. We’ll keep in touch with each other as the date gets close in case we need to reschedule.
Step 2. LET ME BECOME ONE OF THE FAMILY FOR THE DAY.
Once we've decided on a time and date and officially put your session on the books, I'll send you a guide that will walk you through everything from specifically NOT choosing outfits to how to explain the plan to the kids for when I arrive at the house. That guide has been created and refined from years of experience, so it typically answers 90% of the questions that come up, but I'm always happy to set up a time to chat if you want additional help.
A few days before our session is scheduled, I'll reach out to confirm that we are still a go. That's the perfect time to ask any last-minute questions.
The day of the session, just let me in the door and I’ll integrate into the family. I won’t be a fly on the wall, but I also won’t interfere with typical life in your home. I’ll play with the kids, let them show me all their cool toys and tricks. You don’t need to worry about walking in front of the camera, disciplining your kids, or changing your behavior. I’m there for you because you wanted me to capture this time in your life. It does no one good if you put on a show. Just show me your awesome, imperfect, goofy, loving family and we’ll have the best time together.
Finally, take a breath and relax...this is unlike any other family photo experience. It’s real life, and it’s enjoyable for every family member!
You be you, I’ll do the rest.
Step 3. receive your images - The Fun Part!
Within just a couple of weeks of your session, you'll receive an email letting you know that your photos are ready. Once you've had a chance to see them and marvel for a bit, you'll let me know which collection you want to purchase. After that, you'll have a full month to select the specific digital files and print items you want to use to fill that collection...zero pressure! I’ve found beautiful labs to get my albums and prints from so you know you’re getting high quality, archival products.
Here is a preview of the collections I offer.

What you're going to do with your images is one of the most important aspects to consider when you're planning for a photo session, but it's often the aspect that's overlooked
...all that time and money invested deserve a better return than photos gathering dust on a hard drive somewhere.
You'll never get the same feeling looking at your photos on a screen as you will seeing them on your wall or flipping through the pages of an album, so I include a substantial print credit with every collection.
