5 Family Adventures to have in Idaho this Summer

Craters of the Moon + Natural Hot Springs - Arco, Idaho

Craters of the Moon is a national monument and preserve and is some of the most interesting landscape you’ll ever see. It was made from lava flows that cooled right in the heart of Idaho.

And if you want to find this awesome hot springs, message me and I’ll give you the directions to find the pull out.

Bruneau Sand Dunes - 15 mi south of Mountain Home, ID

The tallest single structure sand dune in North America! Only go in spring and fall. The sand gets way too hot in the summertime. You can camp and hang out all day!

Camping - Stanley, Idaho

Load up the car and the kids and spend a weekend unplugged. Throw rocks in the water, get really dirty, star gaze, make loads of s’mores and even more memories. We plan to camp this year even more than we did last summer.

Redfish Lake - Stanley, Idaho

At the base of the Sawtooth Mountains, this awesome lake has the best views. There are a lot of people that go up there, especially on weekends. There are a few other lakes around there that aren’t as busy, but it’s definitely worth a trip.

Shoshone Falls - Twin Falls, Idaho

Shoshone Falls is one of the largest waterfalls in the United States. It’s even taller than Niagara! It’s amazing to see all the water flowing over the rocks constantly! I could stare at waterfalls all day!

Get out and explore. We have amazing landscapes and features in this beautiful state.
